Towards the end of my course at university I became increasingly sure I didn’t want to start a career in finance.
I wanted to be part of an industry that directly influences people on a daily basis, where I could be a part of a creative process and see tangible evidence of my work – advertising seemed to be the perfect fit.
I started at the bottom, asking for experience wherever I could find it. This led to me interning in the Account Management department at FKC London, with whom I have been working with for 2 years now and am an Account Executive. Account Management is all about working with and advising clients on their comms needs and relaying the agreed ideas to the necessary departments of the agency to make sure projects run smoothly and to deliver great campaigns.
